The Los Angeles Dodgers stormed to a 10-1 victory over the Miami Marlins to take the series as they improved to 25-12 on the year.

Ahead of the win, the Dodgers made a roster move, recalling the eventual starting pitcher for Wednesday’s game from Triple-A. The losing pitcher from Tuesday night was sent back to the minors in a corresponding move.

Additionally, a pitcher was surprisingly with the team in Miami, hinting at a potential injured list move given his recent option to the majors. Unfortunately, that was the case as Evan Phillips was placed on the IL due to forearm discomfort.

Finally, in more injury updates, Teoscar Hernández is expected to be ‘inactive for a while’ per manager Dave Roberts. The 2024 Home Run Derby champion’s injury was confirmed as a Grade 1 adductor strain after initial tests were run.

With the bases loaded, two outs and two strikes, he hits a bases-clearing triple to pretty much put this game out of reach.

Hyeseong Kim comes through with an RBI base knock to extend the Dodgers lead to 2-0.

Kim now has 4 hits in his first 11 plate appearances with 2 SBs and 2 RBI. He’s only struck out once in his 11 PAs.

Give him an extended run.
