OMAHA, Neb. — Arkansas baseball begins its run at the College World Series tonight, facing a local rival on the sport’s biggest stage.

The No. 3 Razorbacks (48-13) will play No. 6 LSU (48-15) Saturday in a matchup featuring the two highest seeds remaining at the NCAA Tournament. Both teams swept their opponents during the super regionals, and Arkansas is 5-0 in the postseason. The Tigers lost a game to Little Rock during the Baton Rouge Regional.

This will be the fourth meeting between the two schools this season. LSU won two of three games at home during a regular-season series. The victor of Saturday’s contest advances to the winners bracket, with the loser sitting one defeat away from elimination.
