Despite finishing with 10 hits, the North Shore Navigators also left 10 men on the basepaths Sunday afternoon and were defeated by the Martha’s Vineyard Sharks, 3-1, at Fraser Field in Lynn in New England Collegiate Baseball League action.
Michael Perazza, Aukai Kea and Jack Gold all had multi-hit games for the Navigators, who fell to 3-8 with the loss. Gold scored his team’s lone run in the fifth inning via a wild pitch.
