Thousands of fans are expected at Great American Ball Park Wednesday night as the Cincinnati Reds offer a popular bobblehead.For the second time this season, the Reds are giving away Elly De La Cruz bobbleheads to fans in attendance for the game against the Minnesota Twins.The Reds previously gave away De La Cruz bobbleheads for their game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on April 12.In an update released Monday by MLB, De La Cruz ranks fourth among National League shortstops in All-Star voting with more than 312,000 votes.De La Cruz trails behind the New York Mets’ Francisco Lindor (1,019,273 votes), the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Mookie Betts (597,188) and the Philadelphia Phillies’ Trea Turner (348,053) among NL shortstops.The top two vote-getters at each infield position (and top six outfielders) will advance to Phase Two of the voting process, when the starters in each league will be voted on. The next phase of voting begins on June 30, with Phase One concluding on June 26.Voting during the first phase can be done five times each day, per email address. Fans will vote for one player in the American and National Leagues at each infield position and three players from each league in the outfield.
