I think Mike Shildt is plenty familiar with Andy Pages now.
On Monday night, after Pages was hit by a Dylan Cease fastball, the young Dodgers outfielder stared down the right-handed pitcher before walking down to first base.

The bullpens were ready to potentially fight, but tensions didn’t boil over.
However, as Pages went down to first base, Padres manager Mike Shildt was seen yelling at him from the dugout “who the f— do you think you are?” alluding to the fact that he’s not one of the Dodgers’ big time players.
Pages appeared to take that personally.
On Tuesday, Pages went 4-for-4 with two home runs and three RBIs in the Dodgers’ 8-6 win over the Padres.
After the game, he revealed he saw the Shildt video, but didn’t use it as any added motivation.
“Yeah, I actually saw it this morning,” Pages said through an interpreter. “Obviously, didn’t pay much attention to it. I left yesterday’s game behind, and I focused on today.”
While Pages took the high road, Dodgers All-Star third baseman Max Muncy didn’t let Shildt off the hook so easily.
“I think Andy spoke for himself today,” Muncy said. “I think Andy told him who he was today.”
Pages is quietly making an All-Star case for himself, as he’s currently fourth among NL outfielders in home runs (15) and RBIs (49). He’s generated 2.9 fWAR (T-5th among NL outfields) and 3.2 bWAR (T-3rd). He’s also been one of the best defenders in MLB, ranking in the 95th percentile in Outs Above Average and 97th percentile in Arm Value, per Baseball Savant.
Andy Pages believed the Padres intentionally hit him with a pitch on Monday.
Mike Shildt responded by shouting “who the f— do you think you are?”
Manny Machado said the Padres wouldn’t hit Pages as LA has other “big dogs” to hit.

While Pages may not be one of the Dodgers’ “big dogs” in name value, he’s been one of their best and most consistent players all year long.
If Shildt didn’t know much about him entering the series, he certainly does now.
“He had a nice ballgame,” Shildt said of Pages after the game. “Swung the bat well. Hats off to him.”
