Missouri softball made its second transfer addition of the offseason in pitcher Rylee Michalak.

The right hander comes to Mizzou with three years of eligibility remaining following a one-year stint in Houston.

Michalak posted a 5.75 earned run average on 59⅔ innings pitched in her lone season with the Cougars. She had a record of 6-5 with 35 strikeouts and 49 earned runs.

Michalak earned a complete-game win against UCF on April 26, allowing four runs on eight hits while striking out four.

The Tigers lost key closer Taylor Pannell to the transfer portal and Michalak will look to help fill in the bullpen. Pannell committed to Texas A&M on Tuesday.

Michalak joins East Carolina outfielder Emma Jackson as the two offseason additions for Mizzou coach Larissa Anderson through the transfer portal so far this offseason.

With Pannell’s departure leaving a void in the bullpen, Michalak brings needed depth to Mizzou’s pitching staff. She and Jackson look to carve out a key role and contribute immediately as the Tigers retool their roster for the 2026 campaign.
