Five Crawford County high school baseball players were named to the Pennsylvania State Baseball Coaches Association all-state teams on Thursday.
In Class 1A, Cochranton junior Walker Carroll made the first-team as an infielder. The West Virginia University commit led the Cardinals with a .519 batting average. He tallied 28 hits, 21 RBIs and 16 runs. On the mound, Carroll posted a 2.33 ERA with 101 strikeouts and 16 earned runs.
