With the Detroit Tigers making their way to the 2024 postseason, and dominating the start of 2025, the team has taken over the state of Michigan for the summer. Within that success, the Tigers star pitcher Tarik Skubal has been the center of the team’s success.
The Cy Young Award winner has taken an affection to the Michigan State basketball program, taking in a game this past season at the Breslin Center, watching MSU defeat Illinois. He raved about his visit to East Lansing, spending the day as an honorary Spartan.

Now, the Tigers ace has continued his affection for the Spartans team, this time by giving a gift to one of the Spartans senior leaders.
Per Carson Coopers Instagram story, the Tigers ace sent him a gift, giving him a personalized signed jersey. The jersey was conscribed “To: Carson” and also read, “Go Green!”
