Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Roki Sasaki has restarted his throwing progression, a huge twist in the rookie’s injury saga. Just last weekend, manager Dave Roberts said the Dodgers were planning on life without Sasaki in the rotation.

However, the latest update bodes well for the 23-year-old.

Another staple in the Dodgers rotation is making progress as Tyler Glasnow began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City Sunday.

The Dodgers have been linked to a $15 million starting pitcher as the trade deadline nears, but the question remains whether the front office will focus on acquiring an arm or position player this summer.
