Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. exited Thursday’s game against the Cleveland Guardians after he was hit on the right forearm by a pitch in the third inning.

With a runner on second and the Blue Jays leading 3-0, Guerrero stepped in with a 2-2 count against Guardians starter Tanner Bibee. After the pitch, Guerrero appeared visibly frustrated and was checked on by the training staff. He left the game shortly after and was replaced defensively by Davis Schneider ahead of the fourth inning.
