RICHMOND, Va. (KTRE) – Former Jasper Bulldog John McMillon threw a shutout inning in Reading’s 6-4 loss to Richmond on Wednesday.
McMillon entered the game in the sixth inning and gave up walks to the first two batters before inducing a flyout to the third, striking out the fourth and getting the final batter out on a foul fly.
Through 18 appearances, McMillon has a 4.22 ERA.
Reading (26-43) is in sixth place in their division. They continue the series against Richmond on Thursday.
