Listen as Jacob Misiorowski comments on his big-league debut in Milwaukee

Jacob Misiorowski comments on his big-league debut at American Family Field on June 12, 2025, against the St. Louis Cardinals. Misiorowski pitched five innings without allowing a hit during a 6-0 Brewers win.

The already-star-studded Milwaukee Brewers’ alumni home run derby just got more hitting royalty.

Prince Fielder, Milwaukee’s single-season home run record-holder (with 50), announced he’ll bring all his firepower and 230 Brewers career home runs to the competition, which is scheduled to happen after the current team’s 3:10 p.m. July 25 game against the Miami Marlins.

“It’s an honor to be back in Milwaukee, where it all started for me,” Fielder said in a news release. “American Family Field holds some of my favorite memories as a player, and I can’t wait to step back in the box and put on a show for the fans again.”

Fielder’s list of hitting achievements with the Crew is nothing short of extensive.

Along with his single-season home run record, he’s also the youngest player in National League history to hit 50 home runs in a season and has the most RBIs in a season in franchise history (141). He’s a three-time all-star (2007, 2009, 2011) and a two-time Silver Slugger (2007, 2011).

And, in 2009, he won the actual MLB Home Derby, becoming the first Brewer to do so.

Along with Fielder, the derby will feature Ryan Braun — who holds the club career home run record (352) — and Carlos Gómez — who hit it out of the park 87 times — as team captains.

They’ll be joined by Keon Broxton (who also recently confirmed his participation), Yovani Gallardo, Bill Hall, Corey Hart, Casey McGehee, Nyjer Morgan and Eric Thames. Former Brewers coach Ed Sedar and catcher George Kottaras are the pitching-catching duo.
