ARLINGTON, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – The 12-year Ranger shortstop Elvis Andrus is being inducted into the Texas Rangers Baseball Hall of Fame Saturday afternoon.
Andrus will be joining his former teammates, Adrian Beltre and Ian Kinsler, as the most recent inductees. He is the all-time leader for stolen bases with 305 and stolen home seven times. Andrus played the most games at the shortstop position of 1,628 games, in his 12-year tenure with Texas.
Andrus will be inducted pre-game when the Rangers play against the Seattle Mariners at Globe Life Field at 3:05 p.m., and it can be watched on the Rangers Sports Network.
