The Dodgers are back home for a six-game homestand at Dodger Stadium, beginning with the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday night in Los Angeles.

One year after setting a modern major league record with 121 losses, the White Sox are just regular bad this year, entering Sunday on pace for only 109 losses in 2025. Plus, Chicago gets to skate under the radar thanks to the Rockies — 18-65 entering Sunday, losers of five straight — trying to set new futility marks this season.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto takes the ball in the series opener against Chicago.

Shane Smith starts on the mound for Chicago. The rookie right-hander has been a bright spot for the White Sox with a 3.38 ERA in his 15 starts, though he’s allowed 10 runs in 6⅓ innings over his last two starts.

The Dodgers swept the White Sox in Chicago last season in late June, including a complete game shutout by Gavin Stone. The Dodgers have won 11 of their last 13 games against Chicago dating back to 2017.
