Home Run Dugout, a baseball-themed entertainment venue, is coming to The Rim in Northwest San Antonio.

According to a news release, Home Run Dugout is the only entertainment concept that features indoor soft-toss baseball, using patented batting bays with ground up pitching machines and cageless batting. These batting bays consist of projection screens and immersive augmented reality gameplay, which allows players to bat in their favorite stadiums.
The new 65,000-square-feet venue will feature 34 batting bays, a signature biergarten baseball mini-field, a full service restaurant and three bars.
According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, construction of the new $17 million construction began March 31 and is slated to be completed Dec. 19.
