Cincinnati Reds Hall of Famer Cesar Geronimo was a key part of the Big Red Machine that won two World Series and dominated baseball in the 1970s.
But before he attended a Yankees tryout camp, he was training to join a different team: Geronimo was enrolled in a seminary in the Dominican Republic to become a priest.

Geronimo played for the Astros before being traded to Cincinnati, where he won four Gold Glove Awards and helped the Reds claim three National League and two World Series championships.
