Reds team up with Hoxworth for blood drive; first-time donors could win tickets to game

CINCINNATI (WKRC) — Great American Ball Park buzzed with activity on Thursday, not for a game, but for a life-saving cause.

The Hoxworth Blood Center, in collaboration with the Cincinnati Reds and the University of Cincinnati, hosted a blood drive aimed at supporting local patients in need.

Participants in the drive were rewarded with a pair of Reds tickets, a T-shirt, and a ball cap as tokens of appreciation. Additionally, first-time donors throughout July will have the chance to win a pair of Reds tickets to a game of their choice.

The event underscored the community’s commitment to health and generosity, bringing together sports fans and lifesavers in a unique partnership.
