At Chase Field: Nelson tied a season high with 6 2/3 innings against the Giants in his most recent start, walking none and striking out seven in a game the Diamondbacks won, 4-2. … In five starts since moving into the rotation to replace the injured RHP Corbin Burnes, Nelson has a 3.91 ERA. … He started against the Royals once last season, giving up four runs in six innings. … Wacha gave up five runs in five innings against the Mariners in his most recent start. It wrapped up an inconsistent June in which he posted a 5.40 ERA in five starts. … In nine career starts against the Diamondbacks he has a 4.70 ERA. He faced them once last season, giving up three runs in 4 2/3 innings.
