The Savannah Bananas baseball team will play at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on May 10, 2025.Here’s a roster of the 2025 Savannah Bananas team, including player details and fun facts.
The Savannah Bananas will play some Banana Ball on May 10 against the Party Animals at Nissan Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans.
It will be one of two NFL stadiums the Bananas will play in this summer, the other being Bank of America Stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers. The team’s schedule also includes stops at 18 MLB stadiums and a recent stop at Clemson.
The Bananas, baseball’s version of the Harlem Globetrotters, are one of four teams on the Banana Ball Tour. The other three are the Party Animals, the Firefighters and the newly formed Texas Tailgaters.

1 Bill LeRoy, C
FYI: The self-proclaimed “excellent” breakfast chef from Dublin, Georgia, played five seasons for North Georgia during which time he slashed .331/.427/.471 spanning 204 games.
2 Reese Alexiades, OF
FYI: The Manhattan Beach, California, native said he can’t live without black coffee. Played four seasons for Pepperdine (.313/.394/.470), and three seasons of independent ball for Ogden of the Pioneer League. Hit 29 home runs for Ogden in 2023.
3 Eric Jones, IF/C/P
FYI: The Charlotte, North Carolina, native claims he can solve a Rubik’s Cube in under two minutes. Once was bullpen catcher for the Seattle Mariners. Banana Ball’s all-time leading home run hitter.
4 Kyle “K.J.” Jackson, Utility
FYI: Bowling Green, Ohio, native minored in theater at Kent State, for whom he slashed .275/.393/.429 in 177 games spanning four years.
5 David “DR” Meadows, OF
FYI: Vidalia, Georgia, native loves pickled foods. Played collegiately for Columbus State (.326/.421/.407). Known for his trick plays, which include backflip catches.
6 Ryan Cox, SS
FYI: Hails from the same hometown, Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, as Mike Ditka, Tony Dorsett, Pete Maravich, Terry Francona and Ty Law, to name a few. Played for Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and St. Bonaventure.
7 Ty Jackson, OF
FYI: The Jacksonville, Florida, native’s favorite song is “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. Was drafted in the 32nd round of the 2015 MLB Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays. Played for Lewis-Clark State College in Idaho and Washington State University.
8 Jackson Olson, IF
FYI: New Milford, Connecticut’s very own drinks half an energy drink before each game. Played four seasons for Hartford and one for Stetson.
10 Alex Ziegler, P/OF
FYI: Butler, Pennsylvania, native claims to hold several world records but doesn’t list what they are. Played in college for Pennsylvania Western University California.
11 Correlle Prime, 1B
FYI: The Bradenton, Florida, native’s guilty pleasure is ice cream. Played five seasons of affliated minor-league ball during which he hit 56 home runs.
12 Kyle Luigs, P
FYI: The Richmond Hill, Georgia, native’s go-to karaoke song is “Picture” by Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow. Played three seasons for North Georgia and one for Jacksonville State.
13 Dalton Mauldin, IF
FYI: Born in Nashville, Mauldin claims his celebrity doppleganger is Shakira. Played one season for Bethune-Cookman and three more for Trevecca.
14 Dakota “Stilts” Albritton, Utility
FYI: The “world’s tallest baseball player” grew up in Ellaville, Georgia, and stands 10-foot-9 on stilts, on which he plays during games. Did not play in college.
15 RobertAnthony Cruz, OF
FYI: Fontana, California, native was homeschooled for most of his life. Played for Biola University in California. Played one season in the Washington Nationals’ organization.
18 Danny Hosley, Utility
FYI: Vienna, Virginia, native is a certified EMT. Played collegiately for Norfolk State and George Mason. Slashed .295/.379/.424 in three college seasons.
19 Dan Oberst, Utility
FYI: Tampa, Florida, native has a weak spot for honey buns. Played three seasons for West Georgia, for whom he slashed .359/.429/.681 and hit 17 home runs in 2021.
21 Jared Donalson, P
FYI: Native of Dawson, Georgia, still recovering from losing his third-grade spelling bee. Played five seasons for Georgia Southwestern.
22 Austin Krzeminski, P
FYI: Chandler, Arizona, native played four minor-league seasons. Played for Belmont for one season.
24 Andy Archer, P
FYI: Peachtree Corners, Georgia, native is addicted to the hit television show “Friends.” Played for Georgia Tech and University of Hawaii at Manoa.
29 Zack Phillips, P
FYI: Jonesboro, Arkansas, native claims to have been a competitive cheerleader from third grade through seventh grade.
49 Ryan Kellogg, P
FYI: Whitby, Ontario, native was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 12th round of the 2012 MLB Draft but did not sign. Drafted by the Chicago Cubs in fifth round of 2015 MLB Draft. Claims he can recite the alphabet backward. Played three seasons for Arizona State and six seasons of minor-league ball.

FYI: Imperial, Missouri, native is a big Mariah Carey fan. Played five seasons for Southeast Missouri State.
Malachi Mitchell, number lightning bolt
FYI: Gainesville, Florida, native played three seasons for Florida A&M. Says his go-to karaoke song is “This Love” by Maroon 5.
