Good morning, LSB.

The Rangers beat the Astros last night, 7-3.

Evan Grant writes about the Rangers defeating both the Astros and Angels owner Arte Moreno after a sleepless night of travel.

Jack Leiter earned his first win since May 30 with the help of Kyle Higashioka.

On the down side Jake Burger left the game with what’s being called “quad discomfort.”

More downside, the Rangers say Jacob deGrom will not pitch in the All-star Game.

Bruce Bochy says that’s actually a relief.

Josh Sborz and Jon Gray continue to ramp things up.

Kip Fagg is set for what he calls a “deep class” in the 2025 draft.

And finally, the Rangers and Astros are teaming up to support Kerr County flood victims.

That’s all for this morning. The Rangers and Astros square off again today at 6:35 with Jacob deGrom making his final start before the All-star break

Have a good weekend!
