Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte will bat third for the National League lineup at the 2025 MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday.

The game will mark the second year in a row Marte will start in MLB’s Midsummer Classic and third time in his career.

The NL starting lineup for the game is the following:

DH Shohei Ohtani (Dodgers)
LF Ronald Acuna Jr. (Braves)
2B Ketel Marte (D-backs)
1B Freddie Freeman (Dodgers)
3B Manny Machado (Padres)
C Will Smith (Dodgers)
RF Kyle Tucker (Cubs)
SS Francisco Lindor (Mets)
CF Pete-Crow Armstrong (Cubs)

Marte previously hit eighth and was the leadoff hitter for the NL in 2019 and 2024, respectively. In five All-Star game at-bats, he is 2-for-5 with a double.

Marte was named a starter after leading all NL players in Phase 2 voting. He put up good numbers in the first half of 2025, slashing .290/.394/.567 with 19 home runs and 40 RBIs despite missing nearly all of April with a hamstring strain.

He is the only starter for the D-backs and is one of three players who will represent the team at the All-Star game, along with third baseman Eugenio Suarez and outfielder Corbin Carroll.

Where to watch Ketel Marte in the All-Star game?

Marte and the rest of the NL will face the American League in the 95th MLB All-Star Game at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia. Pirates ace Paul Skenes will start for the NL while Tigers pitcher Tarik Skubal will start for the AL.

The game can be seen at 5 p.m. on Fox.
