Former Tolton baseball star Cameron Lee has been selected in the 2025 MLB Draft.
The Baltimore Orioles picked Lee with the 274th pick in the ninth round. This comes after an outstanding year playing at Mineral Area Community College in Park Hills, Mo.

As a freshman, Lee burst onto the scene in the NJCAA. He earned first-team All-American honors while being named the NJCAA Region-16 Player of the Year. Lee led the Cardinals with 80 hits, 74 runs, 13 home runs, while collecting 32 stolen bases and a .444 batting average. He tallied 46 RBIs ranking behind teammates Noah Cassie (64), Brad Chaisson (50), and Kelly Robertson Jr. (47).
Lee made Mineral Area Community College history, becoming the third player drafted in the program and the first in 41 years. The New York Mets drafted Scott Little in the seventh round of the 1984 MLB January Draft. Tim Lollar played at both Mineral Area Community College and Arkansas before spending nine seasons between the New York Yankees, San Diego Padres, Chicago White Sox, and Boston Red Sox.

During his time at Tolton, Lee starred in multiple sports. He was a part of Tolton’s 2022 state championship team in baseball. He recorded 900-plus receiving yards as a senior on the football team and helped Tolton break its 4×100 record in track and field.
