Jefferson City — A few dozen family members and friends of the late Kevin McDaniel came together for a good cause Tuesday night.
McDaniel was a Jefferson City resident who passed away in 2023.
He was a baseball enthusiast and collected thousands of pieces of baseball memorabilia ranging from autographed cards, baseballs, bats, and photos throughout his life.
Some of that collection was auctioned off Tuesday at Memorial Park in Jefferson City.
The money raised will give McDaniel a new gravestone.
