With the second and final day of the MLB Draft concluded, here’s a quick recap of the major Mets news from Monday. This recap covers all the key moves and selections the Mets made from rounds 4 through 20.

Round 4, No. 133: Peter Kussow, RHP, Arrowhead HS (WI)

The Mets grabbed 6’5” Wisconsin right-hander Peter Kussow, who’s been up to 97 with a sharp slider. He’s a Louisville commit and one of the more intriguing prep arms in the Midwest.

Round 5, No. 163: Peyton Prescott, RHP, Florida State University

The Mets added another big arm in Florida State right-hander Peyton Prescott, who was up to 100 MPH before needing Tommy John surgery this summer.

Round 6, No. 193: Nathan Hall, RHP, University of Central Missouri

Betting on upside, the Mets selected Division II right-hander Nathan Hall, a converted catcher with a fastball up to 98 and a promising slider. Hall had his 2025 season cut short by UCL surgery but showed enough raw stuff to intrigue teams.

Round 7, No. 223: Cam Tilly, RHP, Auburn University

The Mets’ sixth pick, right-handed pitcher Cam Tilly, boasts a mid-90s fastball with high spin and an above-average slider along with a curveball and splitter showing promise despite control issues.

Round 14, No. 433: James Smith IV, RHP, University of Memphis

Round 15, No. 463: Conner Ware, LHP, Louisiana State University

Round 16, No. 493: Zack Mack, RHP, Loyola Marymount University

Round 17, No. 523: Sam Robertson, SS, Northwest Shoals Community College

Round 18, No. 553: Dillon Stiltner, RHP, Trinity Christian School (GA)

Round 19, No. 583: Joe Scarborough, RHP, Jacksonville State
