Chris Carpenter won 2 World Series titles with St. Louis, was a Cy Young Award winner, and was a 3-time All-Star.

In 2004, Manchester Memorial’s Chris Lambert was drafted 19th overall by the Cardinals and ended up playing in the big leagues for the Tigers and Orioles.

Concord’s Bob Tewksbury pitched 13 seasons in the majors, including six with St. Louis. He says Doyle will love being a Cardinal.

Tewksbury is now a mental skills coach and helps players like Doyle to deal with the pressure of becoming a professional athlete.
