ATLANTA – After the four-day All-Star break, the Yankees reconvene at Truist Park to open a three-game series against the Atlanta Braves.

It’s the start of a six-game road trip that takes the Yankees back to Toronto, where they were swept in four games earlier this month by the AL East-leading Blue Jays.

There’s some uncertainty with the Yanks’ rotation coming out of the break, with veteran lefty Max Fried dealing with a blister on his left index finger, suffered in a start last Saturday at Yankee Stadium.

His weekend status was unclear, and the Yankees are apparently beginning this series with a bullpen game as right-hander Ian Hamilton is listed as the starter, with right-hander Spencer Strider pitching for Atlanta.
