The Washington Nationals need to get back to winning ways this Mothers Day. They have lost four in a row, and the offense has been non-existent outside of a Dylan Crews homer over the last couple days. However, with ace MacKenzie Gore on the mound, they have a chance to bounce back.

The lineup is tweaked a bit for today. Jacob Young is getting his first day off in a while, meaning Dylan Crews will shift over to center field. Josh Bell will be in the game as a DH batting fifth. Riley Adams will also get a rare start this Mothers Day.

The Cardinals will also switch things up with a lefty on the mound. Jordan Walker and Ivan Herrera are back in the lineup, while Yohel Pozo starts behind the plate. Brendan Donovan will flip back to second base after playing left field yesterday. Veteran Miles Mikolas will get the start for the Red Birds as they look for their 8th straight win.

It has been a rough home stand for the Nats, but with their ace on the mound, hopefully they can get a curly W. They need it, or else fans will start to get increasingly fed up with the losing.
