The recent editorial, “If Orioles fans could be granted one wish” (July 19), did an excellent job in explaining how important the Baltimore Orioles are to Baltimore. It helps unify a city that so often is in turmoil. The editorial also provides excellent advice to the commissioner of Major League Baseball, the owners of baseball teams and the players in their need to provide entertainment for all socioeconomic levels of communities and fans.

May I suggest that David Rubenstein, majority owner of the Orioles and a successful business entrepreneur, send the editorial to all the other baseball team owners and Commissioner Rob Manfred and then use his world-level business acumen to persuade the other owners to consider the wise advice of The Baltimore Sun Editorial Board.
