They enter Wendesday’s 1:10 p.m. series finale with the Los Angeles Angels at Citi Field on a three-game winning streak.
In Tuesday’s 3-2 victory, Francisco Alvarez provided a key two-run home run and Brandon Nimmo moved them ahead with an RBI single in the fifth inning.Â

Sean Manaea will make his third appearance of the season for the Mets in Wednesday’s finale. Last time out, the Mets lefty allowed one earned run over four innings while striking out six against the Reds. He threw just 69 pitches in his second appearance following a monthslong oblique injury.
For the Angels, left-hander Brock Burke (4-1, 3.38 ERA) will look to get his team back on track.
