Brian Metoyer had a great bounce-back outing after struggling on July 13. Since his promotion, he has only been scored upon in one of his six appearances. Luis Moreno has been hit hard in July, allowing a .306 batting average in 12 1/3 innings.

Brooklyn only managed four hits and a walk, with an A.J. Ewing RBI double being the only run driven in and extra-base hit. Colin Houck can’t wait for July to end, as he’s slashing .137/.220/.216 with 20 strikeouts in 51 at-bats.
