A log jam exists atop the East Shore Baseball League second half standings as five teams have just one loss.

CLEVELAND 7, ST. PETER 2

The Wildcats Peyton Voight shut down the Padre offense with 14 strike outs and allowing just three hits. Wyatt Fischer backed him up with a home run and Brandon Bartels cranked out three hits. Justin Henschel and Tim Salm each had two hits. Reggie Hernandez led St. Peter with two hits.

FOREST 7, ST. CLOUD 5

The Thunder stayed a half-game ahead of four teams for the second half lead as they held off upset-minded St. Cloud. Caden Krug and Cole Kaehner each had two hits while Will Krupp homered in a losing cause. The win went to Mitch McCarty with a save to Keegan Krug. Hunter Boldt took the loss.

HOWARDS GROVE 12, Mt. CALVARY 2

Marshall Albert homered, Cooper Damrow doubled twice while Kyle Damrow and Gage Hilbelink added two hits for the Riverdogs. Brevin Sabel had two hits for the Crusaders. Winning pitcher was Ryan Splittgerber and the loss to Brady Thelen.

JOHNSBURG 13, CHILTON 3

It was all Barn Swallows as Brandon Stephany smashed four hits to back up winning pitcher Travis Kohlmann who added three hits himself. Dan Schmitz had three hits and Jake Steinhardt two. For Chilton, Alex Galik, Austin Grube and Cole Woelfel each had two hits.

MOUNT CALVARY 8, CHILTON 0

Matt Wells shut out Chilton with Colin Hau, Brevin Sabel and Hunter Petrie collecting two hits. Tim Kolbe led Chilton with three hits and Scott Jensen had two.

This Saturday finds Mount Calvary hosting St. Cloud at 12:30 pm. Sunday features a pair of key contests. At 12:30, St. Peter hosts Johnsburg and at 1 pm, Cleveland is at Howards Grove. Chilton welcomes Forest at 12:30.
