Cincinnati Archbishop Casey to throw out ceremonial first pitch at Reds game

Cincinnati Archbishop Robert G. Casey will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at an upcoming Cincinnati Reds game.Casey is scheduled to throw out the first pitch before the Reds’ Aug. 30 game against the St. Louis Cardinals.The pitch will be around 6:25 p.m., before the scheduled 6:40 p.m. first pitch.The first pitch is part of a larger celebration at Great American Ball Park that night for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.Principals from 87 grade schools and 24 high schools in the archdiocese are invited to attend a pregame ceremony on the field.Discounted tickets for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Day at GABP can be purchased here.
