BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Major League Baseball is turning back the clock.

To honor this year’s National Baseball Hall of Fame induction weekend, all 30 teams will wear retro-style caps during games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The caps feature a custom throwback design created by New Era in conjunction with MLB.

For the Orioles, that means throwing it back all the way to 1954, when the franchise moved from St. Louis to Baltimore.

The Orioles’ Hall of Fame cap is all black and features the original bird logo that was worn for the club’s first nine seasons in Charm City. It was later replaced with a “chirping” version that adorned the caps of the 1964 and 1965 teams.
