KANSAS CITY — The Guardians’ return to Kauffman Stadium will have to wait a day after their Friday night game against the Royal was rained out.

The game will be made up Saturday as part of a day-night doubleheader. Game 1 is schedule to start at 2:40 p.m. followed by a 7:15 p.m. scheduled start for the second game.

Right-handers Gavin Williams and Tanner Bibee will start the first and second game, respectively, for Cleveland. The Royals will counter with right-hander Michael Wacha in the first game and left-hander Kris Bubic in the second game.

CLEGuardians.TV will carry the first game, while FOX will televise the second game. WTAM, WMMS and the Guardians radio network will broadcast both games.

The Guardians have not played at Kauffman Stadium since opening the regular season here on March 27.
