Logan Gillaspie allowed four runs while only recording four outs as the Chihuahuas’ starter, but the rest of the pitching staff did not allow a run the rest of the way. Miguel Cienfuegos struck out three while throwing 3.2 innings of long relief. In his last five outings, all in relief, Cienfuegos has only allowed one earned run in 11.1 innings of work, striking out eleven. Sean Reynolds and Alek Jacob combined for three innings of shutout relief, punching out four batters. Eduarniel Nunez picked up the win, tossing two scoreless with four strikeouts.
After falling behind 4-0 after one and a half innings, the Chihuahuas’ offense rallied to tie the game. Tim Locastro got the team on the board with an RBI double in the second inning, and it would be in the third inning where the Chihuahuas broke through. With Brandon Lockridge on second, Luis Campusano grounded a changeup up the middle, and infielder Luis Guillorme corralled the ball. Guillorme was unable to get off a throw to first, and Lockridge scored from second. Two batters later, Clay Dungan turned on a slider to right field, scoring Campusano and Nate Mondou, knotting the game at four. Both teams traded zeros into extra innings, where Forrest Wall singled to score Mike Brosseau to walk off the game.

Defensively, Kai Roberts and Braedon Karpathios recorded outfield assists, each wiping out a runner on the basepaths.
