Who doesn’t like a little nostalgia?

That’s exactly what the Texas Rangers are banking on when they announced on Saturday afternoon that the team will be sporting retro-inspired hats for two home games against the Atlanta Braves.

The effort is a part of the MLB’s Hall of Fame Weekend, which is an annual celebration that marks the induction of the latest members into the prestigious club. The induction ceremony will be held on Sunday in Cooperstown.

Ichiro Suzuki, CC Sabathia, Billy Wagner, Dick Allen, and Dave Parker are this year’s inductees.

All 30 MLB teams will be sporting their own versions of retro hats during this weekend’s games.

Just this past month, the Rangers broke out their red hats for the first time this year vs. the Mariners. The red hats were the club’s only hats for its first three playoff seasons and a regular part of the rotation in the 2010-11 World Series runs.
