The Brewers have some good news for tonight’s game against the Marlins as Sal Frelick returns from injury.

He’ll slot right into his leadoff spot, playing right field in his first game back. As the corresponding move, the team optioned Tyler Black to Triple-A.

Joining Frelick in the outfield is Jackson Chourio and Isaac Collins. That leaves the designated hitter role open for Christian Yelich.

William Contreras starts behind the plate, then, going left to right around the infield, is Caleb Durbin, Joey Ortiz, Brice Turang, and Andrew Vaughn.

Jose Quintana is set to start for Milwaukee. He carries a 3.49 ERA into the game, but he’s been struggling in recent outings. Over his last four starts, he has a 4.70 ERA, but he’s gone more than five innings in each of those games.

For Miami, former Brewer Janson Junk is on the mound. His time was limited in Milwaukee however and now has pitched a career-high 55 1⁄3 major league innings with Miami in 2025. He has a 3.09 ERA, splitting his time between a starting and relief role. His past six appearances have all been as a starter. He doesn’t strike out many batters, but he rarely walks hitters and has surrendered just one home run in his last 32 2⁄3 innings.

Here are the full lineups for tonight’s game. First pitch is set for 6:10 p.m., and it will be on FanDuel Sports Wisconsin and the Brewers Radio Network.
