The Pirates reached a deal to send Bailey Falter to Kansas City Royals just before the Major League Baseball trade deadline Thursday.Pittsburgh gets two minor leaguers in the trade: High-A first baseman Callan Moss and Triple-A left-handed reliever Evan Sisk.It’s the second trade of the day for the Pirates, who are also sending reliever David Bednar to the New York Yankees.Falter was a reliable starter for Pittsburgh this season.
