MEDICINE HAT, Alberta — The Missoula Mavericks secured the Double-A Legion Championship with a decisive 10-0 victory over the Billings Scarlets. The Mavericks’ triumph was fueled by a standout performance from Stellan Ridley, who drove in five runs. This victory marks the Mavericks’ second consecutive championship win.
Key contributions also came from Easton Reymers and Carter Taylor, both of whom are set to play Division One baseball. The Mavericks will now advance to the Northwest Regional Tournament in Billings, beginning August 6.
Meanwhile, in Conrad, the Bozeman Bucks claimed the Class A State Title, completing an undefeated run in this year’s tournament. Bucks pitcher Wyatt Ford delivered a complete game, allowing only seven hits and one run. Bozeman will move on to the Class A Northwest Regional Tournament in Burley, Idaho, starting August 7.
