MINDEN – Wayne Rolling Hill Supply moved their winning streak to six yeserday as they cruised to a 17-3 win over Peltz Company (Alliance) in the National Divison of the Class B State Tournament.

The win keeps Wayne Rolling Hills Supply in the winner’s bracket, where they’ll face Nehawka Sports Construction today at 7.

Wayne Rolling Hills Supply opened the scoring in the second after Adrian Contreras singled to score two runs.

Wayne Rolling Hills Supply would bust the game wide open in the third, scoring rune runs in the process. During the inning: Hayden Kelley doubled to score two runs; Alex Rodriguez scored two runs on a single; a run was scored on a Jaxson Kneifl walk; Gavin Reddern’s sac fly produced a run; and Ethan Synovec singled home two runs himself.

The runs wouln’t stop there, as Wayne Rolling Hills Supply scored six more runs off five hits in the fourth inning. Brodey Munter scored a run on a walk; Kneifl and Moormeier each doubled in two runs, and Synovec singled in his third run of the game.

Redden stepped on the hill first for Wayne Rolling Hills Supply, surrendering three runs on five hits with two walks over 3.1 innings. Brodrick Tiedtke threw 1.2 innings of no-run releif ball for Wayne Rolling Hills Supply.

Braeden Clarke was the first to start on the bump for Alliance, giving up five runs (four earned) on five hits with a strikeout in 2.1 innings.

Wayne Rolling Hills Supply tallied 13 hits in the contest, with Synovec leading the way with three of them and three RBIs in four plate appearances. Contreras, Kelley and Rodriguez each had a pair of hits.
