JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – Martella’s Pharmacy played Monday’s game against Schenectady PNA at Sargent’s Stadium at the Point without manager Kerry Pfeil, who was struck in the head by a baseball while throwing batting practice in the facility’s batting cages located beyond center field before first pitch.

Martella’s Pharmacy General Manager Chris Pfeil, who was inducted into the AAABA Hall of Fame Saturday, took the reins as manager for Monday’s 6-1 triumph as the Johnstown-2 club opened its run in the 80th All American Amateur Baseball Association Tournament.
