Chester, PA: We are getting ready to hit the final stretch of games to see who will be in the MLS Playoffs & your Philadelphia Union are near the top of the East standings. So here is what has been going on with the Philadelphia Union the last time we saw them in MLS action, which was back on July 26, when they took down Colorado at Subaru Park.

On August 2, the Union had a friendly match against Eintracht Frankfurt at Subaru Park & the game ended in a 2-2 draw. The Union would come back to tie the game at 2 on a goal from Chris Donovan

Back on August 1, news would come out that the Philadelphia Union were going to make a move in the transfer market

On August 5, the Union would make the move official about Forward Milan Iloski on a permanent transfer from FC Nordsjælland.

 

Back on July 21, it was reported that Cavan Sullivan would begin his training with Manchester City which some of which took place during the MLS All-Star break

The Union also announced they have received $50,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money (GAM) from Austin FC & Austin will receive an international roster slot from the Union.

Back on July 28, the  Union announced they have received $100,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM) from San Diego FC. The club will receive $50,000 in 2025 GAM and $50,000 in 2026 GAM. In return, the club has loaned Homegrown midfielder David Vazquez to San Diego FC through the end of the 2025 MLS season, with an option to make the loan permanent.

What is upcoming:
The Union will return to MLS Action on Saturday against Toronto at Subaru Park & then have a quick turnaround to take on the New York Red Bulls in the rescheduled US Open Cup game on Wednesday, also at Subaru Park

Subaru Park will be hosting an International Friendly in October as the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team takes on Portugal. The game will be LIVE on TNT at 7 PM
