CLEVELAND, Ohio — David Fry can’t catch this season due to his surgically repaired right elbow needing more time to heal, but that doesn’t mean he has stopped thinking like a catcher.
Fry opened Wednesday’s game against the Mets at DH. He homered to start the second inning of the Guardians’ 4-1 victory to complete their first-ever three game sweep at Citi Field.
