ST. CLOUD — For the first time since 2021, the Mankato MoonDogs punched their ticket to the postseason.
Despite trailing 6-0 after three innings, the MoonDogs rallied to a 16-10 road win over the St. Cloud Rox on Friday night. Collin Jennings went 3-for-6 with seven RBIs, including a three-run home run in the seventh inning. Miken Miller drove in three and Brandon Vlcko drove in two runs.
Mankato erupted with a six-run outburst in the fourth to even the score. The MoonDogs kept producing runs, adding four runs in the sixth, three in the seventh, two in the eighth and a run in the ninth.
The MoonDogs and Rox collide at 6:35 p.m. Saturday at ISG Field.
