CHICAGO — Stephen Vogt waited parts of two seasons and played for two different franchises before he picked up his first major league hit, which also happened to be his first home run.
Vogt, who also ended his playing career with a home run trot in 2022, was traded from Tampa to the A’s before he finally put one over the fence against the Cardinals on June 13, 2013.
