After more than a week away, Spencer Steer and the Cincinnati Reds will finally return to Great American Ball Park on Monday to open a three-game set against the Philadelphia Phillies.

The Reds haven’t played at home since August 1, when they edged the Atlanta Braves 3-2. The following day, they traveled to Bristol for another meeting with Atlanta, starting with a 1-0 lead before the game was suspended after one inning due to bad weather.

The Phillies, meanwhile, arrive in strong form, leading the NL East and widening their cushion over the Mets to 5½ games after sweeping the Rangers, capped by Sunday’s 4-2 road victory.
