The Dodgers (-210) will cost you more than 2 times your potential return, and that’s quite an inflated line for a number of ways.

First, the sportsbooks are making you pay more for Ohtani’s name, and the fact he is on the hill. The fact is, he doesn’t go very deep into games. The L.A. bullpen has a 4.21 ERA on the season, allowing 66 HRs, ranking in the bottom third of the league. Second, the Angels have inexplicably won all 5 meetings with the Dodgers this season, so are you willing to pay more than 2 times your return on a team 0-5 against the underdog?

AVOID and look to the run line instead.

The ANGELS +1.5 (+110) are worth a look at plus-money for a little bit of insurance.

Hendricks has been a tad bit shaky, but it’s hard to bet against the Angels, who have somehow remained perfect against the Dodgers this season. The Dodgers are in freefall, and you can’t trust them right now.

OVER 9.5 (-105) is the lean, but go with a half-unit play at most.
