Left-hander Tanner Scott is back in the Dodgers bullpen after missing a month with left elbow inflammation, activated off the injured list on Friday ahead of the series opener against the Padres at Petco Park in San Diego.

Also of note for Scott is five walks in his seven appearances in July, compared to only six walks in his first 40 games through the end of June. Scott’s eight home runs allowed this season are two more than he allowed over the previous two seasons and 146 games combined. Three of those home runs were hit in the roughly two weeks before getting placed on the injured list.
