Texas A&M baseball alumni continue to make moves in the minors, with two former Aggies recently earning promotions within their respective organizations.
Ali Camarillo and Wyatt Henseler have both been called up to High-A ball. Camarillo moves from the Stockton Ports to the Lansing Lugnuts, while Henseler shifts from the Fredericksburg Nationals to the Wilmington Blue Rocks.
Camarillo is a slick defender with speed and a high baseball IQ. An injury sidelined him briefly, but he’s now regaining his rhythm. Before joining the Lugnuts, he posted a slash line of .254/.329/.318.
Henseler, known for his impressive bat and solid glove, has the potential to rise quickly if he sharpens his defense. Before his promotion, he carried a slash line of .351/.478/.388.
Making it to the majors requires determination, skill, and timing. Both Camarillo and Henseler are showing the drive and development needed to climb the ranks. Whether they’ll get the chance to showcase their talent at the highest level remains to be seen.
