2024 Dodgers MLB Draft pick tracker

The Dodgers in the 2024 MLB Draft used their first pick on a position player for the third year in a row. In the first round, they selected Kellon Lindsey, a speedy shortstop who also played quarterback at Hardee High School in Wauchula, Florida, with the 23rd-overall pick.

This year, the Dodgers had 18 picks in the 20 rounds of the draft. They forfeited their second- and fifth-round picks for signing free agent Shohei Ohtani in December. As such, their bonus pool — which is derived from the recommended slot values of every pick through the first 10 rounds — is $6,114,700, the second-lowest in the majors, ahead of only Houston.

For draft picks after the 10th, any signing bonus amount over $150,000 counts toward the bonus pool.

In all, the Dodgers drafted four high school position players, 10 college pitchers, and four college position players.

Fifteen of the 18 Dodgers picks were signed, headlined by first-rounder Lindsey signing for $3.3 million.
